December 12, 1988 - "Rev. Benon S. Topalian, 73, of 4 Pleasant View Ave., Concord, N.H., died Dec. 10 at this home. He was born in Marash, Turkey, and moved to this country at the age of eight. He grew up in the Boston, Mass. area, was a graduate of Colby College of Waterville, Maine, and a graduate of Colgate-Rochester Divinity School in Rochester, N.Y. He served seven years as minister of the First Baptist Church of Sidney, four years at the Grace Episcopal Church in Galion, and 25 years at St. John's Episcopal Church in Cuyahoga Falls. He then moved to Concord, N.H. in 1981, where he retired. He is survived by his wife, Jane (Walkley) Topalian of Concord, N.H., daughters, Carol T. Donovan of Waltham, Mass. and Becky J. Topalian of Brookline, Mass.; one grandson; sister, Mrs. Efron Boyrazian of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; nieces and nephews.
Memorial services Tuesday, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Hopkinton, N.H. Burial will be at the Old Hopkinton Cemetery. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church in Cuyahoga Falls. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. John's Episcopal Memorial Fund, 2220 Second St., Cuyahoga Falls 44221. The Bennett Funeral Home, Concord, N.H., in charge of arrangements.".

February 1, 1952 - "NEW RECTOR ARRIVES - GALION - The new rector of Grace Episcopal church, here, is Rev. B. Stephen Topalian. He and Mrs. Topalian and two children, Becky, 6 and Carol 4, have moved to Galion."
March 26, 1954 - "Talk Given For DAR By Rector - GALION - In his talk on "The Miracle of Missions," Rev. B. Stephan Topalian included many of his boyhood experiences in World War II in his native Armenia, when he was speaker for members of Olentangy chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. The chapter was having its March luncheon meeting at Hotel Talbott. Rev. Topalian is rector of Grace Episcopal church. He stressed the responsibility of the Christian church to meet the needs of the people in other parts of the world. He said that Armenia was the first nation to be Christianized.".
