January 4, 1959 - "GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan 3--Mrs. Theron Lee Redfearn has announced the engagement of her daughter, Miss Patricia Lee Redfearn, to William Henry Trotter Bush. He is the son of United States Senator and Mrs. Prescott Bush of Greenwich, Conn.
An August wedding is planned.
Miss Redfearn, daughter also of the late Mr. Redfearn, graduated from St. Catherine's School in Richmond, Va., and Bennett College. She is a junior at Vassar College.
The future bride was presented at a supper dance give by her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Pierce in Rye, N.Y., and also at the Debutante Assembly and New Year's Ball in New York. She is a professional member of the Junior League of New York.
Mr. Bush, an alumnus of the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Conn., is a junior at Yale, where he belongs to Saybrook College and Fence Club. His grandmother is Mrs. George Herbert Walker of New York."
August 16, 1959 - "RYE, N.Y., Aug 15--Miss Patricia Lee Redfearn and William Henry Trotter Bush were married here this afternoon in the Presbyterian Church. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. S. Carson Wasson. He was assisted by the Rev. Robert S. Appleyard. There was a reception at the Apawamis Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Theron Lee Redfearn of Greenville, S.C. and the late Mr. Redfearn. Mr. Bush is the son of United States Senator Prescott S. Bush and Mrs. Bush of Greenwich, Conn., and Washington.....".
