April 5, 1974 - "CLEMENT -- Stuart H., in North Haven, Conn., Apr. 2, 1974 of 178 Bishop St., New Haven. Husband of Margaret Bush Clement. Father of Mrs. Henry W. Estabrook of North Haven, Stuart H. Clement Jr. of Rye, N.Y. and Samuel Prescott Bush Clement of New Haven. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at Battell Chapel, New Haven, Friday, April 5 at 2 P.M. Contributions may be made to the New Haven Foundation.".

June 2, 1993 - "Margaret Bush Clement, an aunt of former President Geroge Bush, died on Saturday at the Connecticut Hospice in Branford. She was 93 and lived in Hamden, Conn.
She died of cancer, a spokesman for the Hawley Lincoln Funeral Home in Guilford, Conn., said.
Mrs Clement was the daughter of Samuel Prescott and Flora Sheldon Bush, President Bush's grandparents. In 1911 (1919) she married Stuart Holmes Clement of Buffalo and moved to New Haven, where she served with numerous civic organizations, including the Red Cross, the United Way, the Women's Auxiliary of New Haven Hospital and the New Haven Tuberculosis Association.
Mrs. Clement served as trustee of the Westover School in Middlebury, Conn.
She is survived by two sons, Stuart Holmes Clement Jr. of Saybrook, Conn., and Samuel Prescott Bush Clement of Litchfield, Conn.; a daughter Mary Bush Clement Estabrook of North Haven, Conn.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.".

December 27, 1943 - "NEW HAVEN, Conn., Dec 26 -- Mr. and Mrs. Burton Parker Twichell of this city have announced the engagement of their daughter, Harmony, to S. Prescott Bush Clement of this community and Charlottsville, Va.
Miss Twichell was graduated from Milton (Mass.) Academy and Vassar College in 1943. She is a granddaughter of Mrs. Charles M. Pratt of Glen Cove, L.I. and the late Mr. Pratt, and the late Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Hopkins Twichell of Hartford.
Mr. Clement, an alumnus of the Pomfret (Conn.) School, attended Williams College. He is a grandson of Samuel Prescott Bush of Columbus, Ohio, and of Mrs. S.M. Clement of Buffalo, N.Y."
June 25, 1944 - "NEW HAVEN, Conn., June 24 -- The marriage of Miss Harmony Twichell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Burton Parker Twichell of New Haven, to S. Prescott Bush Clement, of the faculty of the Pomfret School, son of Lieut. Stuart H. Clement, USNR, and Mrs. Clement of New Haven and Charlottesville, Va., took place here today in the Marquand Chapel. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Joseph H. Twichell of Windson, Conn.
Miss Peggy Twichell was maid of honor for her sister. The bridesmaids were the Misses Mary Bush Clement, sister of the bridegroom; Ann Campbell, Jane Day and Ann Rose of New Haven; Laura Broks of Bennington, Vt., and Lovel Price of Scranton, Pa.
Lieutenant Clement was best man for his son.".
