BENZONIA - William G. Zenker, 56, died Tuesday at his home in Benzonia. Born Sept. 6, 1942, in Thompsonville, he was the son of Frederick Paul and Nora Rebecca (Fookes) Zenker. July 16, 1965, in Benzonia, he married Paula A. Maginity.
William was a farmer and very much enjoyed his work which included logging, forestry management and building log cabins.
Survivors include his wife, Paula A.; two daughters, Susan Zenker and Amy Zenker - both of Benzonia; a son, Daniel Zenker of San Diego, Calif.; and a granddaughter, Ariella Zenker.
Friends may call at the time of funeral services which will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bennett-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Beulah; Pastor Dan Ingersoll will officiate. Cremation will follow.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Foundation.
