May 31, 1987 - "Wright, Raymond O., West Branch, Michigan - Formerly of Saginaw passed away Friday, May 29, 1987, at the Ann Arbor Veteran's Medical Care Facility. Age 80 years. He was born Oct. 15, 1906, in Saginaw. He married Laura M. Gerard Nov. 23, 1940. She survives him. He served with the U.S. Army, the National Guard, and the Michigan National Guard. He was the Pastor of the Prescott Pentecostal Church since 1957. Mr. Wright was a member of A.B.E.A. Ministerial Association. Surviving besides his wife are a son and a daughter-in-law, Stephen Ray and Lydia Wright, serving with the the U.S. Navy in San Diego, Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy May and Randel Clark, Prescott; a grandson, Lance Wright, Great Falls, Mont.
Funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the W.L. Case & Co. Funeral Directors, 409 Adams. Rev. Melvin Harnetz of Lupton, Mich., will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the chapel on Adams Street from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday; and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.".
