"J.W. BURNETT, 75, TAKEN BY DEATH. Resident Of Village 20 Years. Victim of Heart Trouble. Acute dilation of the heart caused the death Friday of James W. Barnett, at his home, 804 Bates street. He had been a resident of Birmingham for more than 20 years, and was in the employ of the Fisher Body corporation. He was 75 years old. Funeral services were held at his home at 2 p.m. Monday with J.R. Kline, of Detroit, officiating. Burial was in Roseland Park Cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah Mills Burnett, one son, Norman W., who was called from Buffalo, two daughters, Miss Nina B. and Mrs. Susan Schlinz, and a grandson, Richard Schlinz. Mrs. Schlinz and her son live at Half-way. Frank Burnett, of Southfield avenue, is a brother and Mrs. Francis J. Powers , of Southfield avenue, is a sister.".
