September 13, 1923 - "Martin Ganessley of Lennon, who has been receiving treatment at the hospital in Ann Arbor, where he underwent a serious operation recently, will be brought to his home there this week. His condition is said to be very critical."
January 17, 1924 - "STATE OF MICHIGAN, The Probate Court for the county of Genesee. At a session of said Court, held at the Probate Office in the city of Flint, in said County, on the 4th day of January, A.D. 1924. Present, Hon. John C. Graves, Judge of Probate. In the matter of the Estate of Martin Gansley, deceased. Lottie Gansley having filed in said court her petition praying that the administration of said estate be granted to herself or to some other suitable person. It is Ordered, That the 31st day of January A.D. 1924, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, at said probate office, be and is hereby appointed for hearing and petition. It is Further Ordered, That public notice thereof be given by publication of a copy of this order, once each week for three successive weeks previous to said day of hearing, in the Flushing Observer, a newspaper printed and circulated in said county.
