October 7, 1931 - "CHAUNCEY, Oct. 7, -- Mrs. Melissa Welling, 87, widow of the late Wes??? resident of Chauncey, died Wednesday at her home in Toledo, Ohio. The body will be brought to Millfield today and funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the Millfield Church of Christ.
Rev. G.B. Courtney, Chauncey, will conduct the services and interment will be in the Nye Cemetery in Chauncey.
Mrs. Welling is survived by four sons and two daughters as follows: O.P. Welling, Nelsonville; S.A. Welling, Corning; A.O. welling, Columbus; J.R. Welling, Toledo, and Miss Clara Welling and Miss Neil Welling, Toledo. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Walter Duncan, Glouster, and three brothers, 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dr. A.J. Learned, Millfield, is a brother of Mrs. Welling.".
