Norman Fooks lists a birthdate of August 14, 1873 for Sarah Green. However, both the 1920 and 1930 Manistee, Springdale census shows a birth year of 1878.
An 1878 birth year seems to indicate she was born four years before the marriage of Jane Whitby and John Green. Census reports agree on their marriage year of 1882. We have been unable to locate Sara Green in any documents prior to the 1920 census where she is married to Almon Mallison.
