June 22, 1892 - "Last Wednesday afternoon there was a wedding party at the home of David Cameron, Esq., on West avenue. Mr. Cameron's eldest daughter, Miss Lizzie, was married to Mr. Fred W. Bailey, the ceremony being pronounced by Rev. John Pollock, of Allentown, Pa. The ceremony was witnessed only by the relatives and intimate friends of the couple. The bride was prettily attired in a gray traveling-dress trimmed with surah silk. Mr. and Mrs. Bailey left on the afternoon train for a trip to Buffalo and Niagara Falls and thence to their future home at Indianapolis, Ind. Mr. Bailey has been clerk in a large hotel in that city for some time. Mrs. Bailey is one of our esteemed young women, and her large circle of friends tender hearty congratulations.
February 17, 1937 - "Mrs. Elizabeth Cameron Bailey, formerly of Wellsboro, died Wednesday night at St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colorado, after an illness of several weeks of pneumonia. Funeral and burial in Denver Friday.
She was born in Tioga, Pa., the eldest daughter of the late Judge and Mrs. David Cameron. She came to Wellsboro with her parents as a child and was graduated from the Wellsboro High School in 1886.
Following her marriage to Fred W. Bailey, a Wellsboro native. Mrs. Bailey went to Indianapolis, Ind.., where her husband was manager of the Grand Hotel. Later they moved to Denver when Mr. Bailey's health necessitated a change of climate. The deceased is survived by her husband, three brothers and one sister. Hon Peter G. Cameron, of Williamsport; William R. and Ernest M. Cameron, of Wellsboro, and Mrs. Annie C. Robertson of San Francisco.".
