September 5, 1945 - "Mrs. W.B. Smith and daughter, Miss Donna Rouse, entertained Wednesday at a shower in honor of Mrs. Edgar Perry and her newly adopted daughter, Vaudine Ann. The nursing staff at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital were among the guests.".

2 Nov. 1977 - "Edgar G. Perry, age 67, of RD 6, Wellsboro, died October 29, 1977 at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital.
He was born November 3, 1909 in Charleston Township the son of Adelbert and Adelia Jordan Perry. He was a woodworker, a member of the Wellsboro Moose Club, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Wellsboro.
He is survived by his wife, Helena Bacon Perry of Rd 6 Wellsboro; one daughter, Mrs. James (Vaudine) McMichael of RD 6, Wellsboro; one son, John L. Perry of RD 6, Wellsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Fay Richardson of Lakeland, Fla., and Mrs. Eva Niles of Wellsnboro; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Tussey Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard T. Purchase officiating. Burial in the Wellsboro Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to the Wellsboro Moose Club Building Fund.".
