December 23, 1944 - "Pvt. Harold Partello, former employee of the Moravia Post Office, has been wounded in action, according to a letter received by his wife, Mrs. Clara Partello of Church Street, Moravia. Private Partello has suffered a leg wound due to morter shell. He writes that he is in a French hospital and is doing as well as can be espected. He has been awarded the Order of the Purple Heart. Inducted into the service January 28, 1944, Partello went for basic training to Camp Blanding, Fla., embarking for overseas from Camp Mead, Md., for the Italian theater. When wounded he was serving with General Patch's Army in the infantry. He will be 38 years old on February 7. Mrs. Partello, the former Miss Clara Davis of Moravia stated that she believed her husband was wounded about December 3. The couple has two children, Barbara, eight, and Marilyn, four years old."

April 13, 1946 - Letters of administration have been granted to Harold F. Partello in the $2,000 estate of the late William B. Partello of Monrovia."

June 19, 1964 - "Harold F. Partello of Moravia, who die May 14 left $200 each to his daughters, Barbara Page of Trumansburg and Marilyn Likeness of Hopewell Junction. The balance of the estate is to go to his widow, Clara J. Partelllo, who was also named executrix. Schuble D. VanFleet, Jr., is the attorney for the estate.".
