Before Elizabeth Corson Beardsley married Havard she was engaged to Brian Meeson as shown in a New York Times article of August 23, 1958. I think this marriage may have never come off. No wedding announcement is to be found. Furthermore, in June of 1960, an article appeared announcing Brian Meeson's engagement to someone else.
