May 1, 1899 - "Mr. S.W. Partello, of north Jackson street, fell and severely lacerated her left leg. She was in the act of getting out of bed when the accident happened."
May 3, 1899 - "Mrs. S.W. Partello, residing on north Jackson street, who fell onto a bowel, the vessel breaking and cutting an awful gash in her leg is very low. She is nearly 75 years of age and there is little, if any, hope for recovery."
May 20, 1899 - "The following relatives were here in attendance at the funeral of Mrs. S.W. Partello, Mr. and Mrs. A.G. Stewart, Rockford, O: E.E> Stewart, Sandusky; C.W. Stewart, Plymouth, O; Mrs. E.L. Clelland, Suilo, O; Mrs. F.M. Stewart, Toledo: F.M. Stewart, president First National Bank, and Charles Stewart, cashier of the same, Hillsdale, Mich., and Mr. and Mrs. F.C. Partello and daughter Lella of Toledo.".
