Wesley Paul, western representative of the Associated Wool Growers company, returned from Boise, where he landed the last big wool clip remaining unsold this year. The clip is that of J.C. Emerick & Sons and amounts to 170,000 pounds.
Just before closing with Mr. Paul, Mr. Emerick declined an offer of 14 cents a pound for his wool, preferring to send it to the wool gropers organization on consignment, to be sold direct to the mills.
The wool clip of 1902 is now practically cleaned up, and the market in the east is strong, prices running a cent to a cent and a half higher than when the bulk of the clip was sold.".
