Several genealogy trees report that Byron Partello was the son of Asahel Partello, Jr. The Probate File for Asahel lends credence to that fact as Byron is petitioner and administrator. According to this document, Asahel died April 3, 1871 in Detroit. Some sources show June 29, 1871 but this clearly is an error since the probate documents are dated May 1871.
