Her birth date is shown as March 9, 1880 in North Dakota. but a different date of birth is shown on the U.S. National Cemetery Interment Control form which reports January 9, 1881. Burial in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego. Margaret's Find A Grave record also reports a birth date of January 9, 1881.8

Travelling with them was Thomas Wildridge Bell, a son of Angus - this provides a link, presumably a family link, between John and Angus.".
