Northern Pacific Executive Given Release. Lt. Col Frank Cook Is to Take Livingstone Job.
Livingston, Aug. 28 - Formal release from the army has been given to Lt. Col. Frank O [G] Cook, former Northern Pacific railway official, who is to come to this city to become assistant superintendant of the lines on this division.
An outstanding railway executive , he was "loaned' to the army to conduct military railway operations. He has a distinguished record.
Colonel Cook hasderved the NP in both Idaho and Montana, when he went to war.
He was with the Idaho division when he entered service.14

Mandan Pioneer. Feb 20: Mrs Frank G. Cook who is soon to leave with her husband for Helena, Mont., where they will make their future home, Mr. Cook having been transferred to the position of road-master of the Northern Pacific at that point, was hostes this afternoon to 80 ladies. Luncheon was served at 1:30, following which the afternoon was spent at auction bridge. The home was prettily decorated for the affair, the color scheme being yellow and white. Daffodils were the flowers used. Mrs. Cook has as her guests her sisters, Mrs. W. M. Hotchkiss and Miss Mary McGinnin, both of Jamestown, N.D. Mrs Arthur Jacobson of Bismark ws another out -of-town guest.17
