Stanley's obit appeared in The Montana Standard (Butte, MT) on December 15, 1987. He died December 2, 1987 near Dillon. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery, Dillon. The wife who preceded him in death, mentioned here, was not Vivian but apparently someone he married after his divorce from Vivian. Stanford, son of Stanley and Vivian, is mentioned but the daughter, Kathy, does not appear to have been Vivian's.
