"Harry Milward

Services for Harry Milward who died Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gordon Sutton, 645 Chicago boulevard, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the home. Burial will be in Woodmere Cemetery. Mr. Milward, 88 years old, was an intimate friend of Councilman John Lodge. He retired 30 years ago from the real estate business. He was born in London, England, but had lived in Detroit since he was 5, when he came here with his family. He was an officer in the famous old Detroit Light Infantry. His wife, the late Maria Pridgeon Milward, was the daughter of a pioneer Detroiter, Capt. John Pridgeon. Milward's brother-in-law, John Pridgeon, Jr., was one-time Mayor of Detroit. Mrs. Sutton is the only survivor.".
