Here is a bit of a puzzle. It appears that this is the death certificate for the wife of Robert Edwin Pridgeon, brother of Captain Pridgeon. There are, however, some contradictions. We show her, based on several sources, as Eliza Jane McQueery, the daughter of ? McQueery. This Elizabeth, as you see, is shown as the daughter of John McQueen. We show Eliza Jane as being born in March 1846 in Canada. The death certificate shows Elizabeth as born March 7, 1849 in Canada. It seems very likely that Eliza Jane and Elizabeth are one in the same but I'm unable to account for the differences. If we accept that they are the same, we can say that she died February 13, 1913 in Detroit of bronchial asthma. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
