In the 1880 Vienna Twp. census, William Goss and family is shown living next door to the Ransom Rose family. Of interest is the fact that Julia Weeks Goss has a sister, Celia, whose son, Lester will eventually marry the youngest daughter of Ransom and Jane Rose.
