July 28, 1966 - "The Reverend Donald C. Wilson of Lancaster, Pa., will be the guest preacher at teh Grosse Pointe Memorial Church on July 31.
Dr. Wilson is a former member of the Grosse Pointe Memorial Church, a graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary and the University of Edinburgh, where he received his Ph.D. in 1954. He has been a Chaplin in the U.S. Army and has held pastorates in Tecumseh, MIch., and Wilmington, Del. At present he is pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster.
Dr. Wilson is married to the former Barbara Fitch, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferris H. Fitch, reside in Grosse Pointe Farms. The Wilsons are the parents of two children, Julia and Andrew.
The community is invited to morning worship on Sunday, July 31, 9:30 to hear Dr. Wilson preach.".
