"CLARKSTON -- Mr. and Mrs. E.V. Bailey of 9635 Pine Knob road will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house at their home Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. The Baileys were married Oct. 17, 1900 at Lake Orion. Mr. Bailey has lived his entire life in Independence township with the exception of 20 years when he was in the hardware business in Lake Orion. He is now retired. The couple has three children including twin daughters, Mrs. Clark J. Miller of Ortonville and Mrs. Glenn O'Berry of Drayton Woods and one son, Delmar F. Bailey of Burbank, Calif. There are five grandchildren. The Baileys request that no gifts be given on the occasion."
