The unfortunate accident which happened to Lewis L. Morris, a few days since, at which was reported in our last issue, terminated fatally between 10 and 11 o'clock yesterday (Tuesday, March 25.) From the moment of the accident, to the drawing of his last breath, Lew was attended by best of medical skill, and surrounded with all that money could procure, but the injuries received proved too much, and he expired as stated above. He was in his 38th year, and had resided in this city since 1855. He was generally beloved by those who knew him and was fairly idolized by his brother Joseph, whose companion he had been ever since we have known them. His funeral takes place from the Waverly House at 1 o'clock to-morrow, Thursday.
