January 1, 1937 - "Mrs. Marguerite Porritt, who suffered a borken leg in an auto accident in October and has been in Goodrich Hospital since, will have to remain another month at least as the bone does not heal. Her husband, who was also injured in the same accident and has his legs and arm in a cast, spent Christmas with her, but has to return to Pontiac General Hospital for another operation on his leg."

March 28, 1947 - "Montge Edward Hoard, 62, of Oxford, was killed and two Oxford men riding with him were injured, when their car, traveling south, collided with the Lapeer-Pontiac bus, 9 miles south of Lapeer on M-24, at 6:35 p.m., Saturday March 22.".
