The soon-to-be city of Auburn Hills has a new newspaper. Dick Kroninger and family of Oxford published the first edition of the Auburn Hills Community News this week. They free circulated their twice monthly newspaper to all homes in what is now Pontiac Township, which will become Michigan's newest city Jan 1. The Kroningers own Happy Hour Party Shoppe in Auburn Heights and formerly owned Oxford Party Shoppe in Oxford. Dick is publisher of the paper, son Rick is general manager and Rick's wife, Debbie, is managing editor. The newspaper is printed at the Oxford Leader plant.".
