Husband of Betty; son of George Cumberworth of Pontiac; father of Tim Nichols; brother of George Cumberworth, Mrs. Dorothy Gidcumb, Mrs. Mable Smith, Mrs. Jean Raetzke, Mrs. Doris Chaney, Mrs. Lois Bolton, and Kenneth Cumberworth. Mr. Cumberworth was an Insurance Adjuster for State of Michigan, Funeral Sat., June 3 at 2 p.m. Sparks Griffin Funeral Home. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. CUMBERWORTH, George E.: January 23, 1973; 6345 Upper Straits Blvd.; age 86; father of Mrs. Dorothy Gidcumb, Mrs. Doris Chaney, Mrs. Lois Bolton and Kenneth Cumberworth all of Pontiac, Mrs. Mabel Smith of Fla., Mrs. Jean Raetzke of Troy and George Cumberworth of White Pigeon, Mich.; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Funeral service, Thursday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. at the Sparks-Griffin Chapel. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery. Suggested visiting hours 3 to 5 and 7 to 9.

Mrs. Alice Cumberworth
Mrs. Alilce Mary Cumberworth, 58, of 119 Ruth Street, died at Pontiac General hospital at 7:30 p.m. Friday. She had been ill four months. Born in England, Dec 15, 1888, she was the daughter of George and Jane Meyers Capps. She married George E. Cumberworth in Boston, Eng. in 1912. She came to Pontiac from England 35 years ago. Besides the husband she is survived by three sons, George of Milford, Kenneth and Leslie of Pontiac; five daughters, Mrs. Jean Raetzke of Royal Oak, Mrs. Dorothy Gidcumb, Mrs. Mable Smith, and Doris and Lois Cumberworth, all of Pontiac, and two brothers and three sisters in England. Funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist church, with the Rev. F. R. Tiffany officiating. The body will be at the Pursley Funeral home until 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Perry Mt. Park cemetery.
