William G. Aylesworth was born in 1825, in Otsego county, N.Y. In 1848 he married Miss Lucy Bailey of Richmond, Tioga county, Pa., and removed to Blossburg in 1873.

"Mr. William Aylesworth, Sr., died at the home of his son, Mr. John Aylesworth, at 2 a.m. Monday, September 5, after a long illness, aged about 80 years. Mr. Aylesworth was one of the oldest and most respected residents of Blossburg; he is survived by his aged wife and three sons. John, Dell and William, all of this place. Interment will take place on Tuesday, in the Odd Fellows' cemetery".

William Mold, a former resident of Blossburg, died suddenly while at work in the LaFrance shops in Elmira. The remains were taken to Blossburg for burial.

October 19, 1921 - "Mrs. Charlotte Mold, of Elmira. formerly of Blossburg, died Wednesday afternoon, after a long illness, aged 68 years. She is survived by a son, Edward, of Elmira; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Hufford, Mrs Frank Watson and Mrs. William Aylesworth, of Elmira; a sister, Mrs. Walace Hager, of Horseheads; three brothers, William Bailey, of Blossburg; Frank and John Bailey, of Wellsboro. The funeral was held Saturday at 10 a.m.; burial in Arbon cemetery, Blossburg.".
