February 28, 1949 - "Crash at Crosby - A 1948 sedan, owned and operated by Leonard Lathrop, 45, of Crosby, was struck by a 1942 coupe, operated by Charles E. Wells, 21, Smethport, at 2:30 a.m., Saturday in Crosby. Damage to the Wells car was said to be $350 and to the Lathrop machine, $150."

July 17, 1951 - "Mr. Leonard Lathrop is vacationing in Wisconsin this week.".
