June 16, 1891 - "Moses Ohart took an unwilling plunge into the waters of Owasco lake, last evening. He and Attorney E.C. Aiken were fishing, and in changing positions in the boat Ohart was precipitated into the water. He succeeded in getting out without much difficulty.".

From the Auburn Citizen (Auburn, NY).
March 18, 1924 - "Mrs. Charles Ohart of No 10 Derby Avenue died at the City Hospital early last evening in the 71st year of her age. She was taken seriously ill on February 5 and was removed to the hospital where she continued to grow weaker until the end. Her health collapsed in 1908 and she was unable to take an active part in life thereafter.
Mrs. Ohart was born in Danby, Tompkins County, and was married to Charles E. Ohart of Tioga Center in 1871. They moved to Auburn in 1881 where she joined the Church of Christ. She later became affiliated with the Wall Street Methodist Church where she continued to be a member until her death. She was also a member of the Dorcas Sisters Society of that churc
She is survived by her husband who was a conductor on the Lehigh Valley Railroad until he retired last year; one son, Moses T., and on grandson, Theodore Charles.
The funeral service will be held at the residence on Thursday at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Soule Cemetery.".
6 George W. WOODCOCK13 (c. 1823- ) [7291]. Born c. 1823.13
7 Esther Miranda WRIGHT15,16 (1834-1906) [7228]. Born 17 Feb 1834, Tioga Centre, NY.15,16 Died 8 May 1906, Auburn, NY.16
The 1870 census indicates Miranda was born about 1822, which seems unlikely. We believe the dates of 1831 - 1833 in other records are more likely to be correct. Her obituary which was finally located in the Auburn Citizen (Auburn, NY) finally has a correct birthdate.
June 2, 1906 - "A TRIBUTE - Words of Commendation of Late Mrs. Hester M. Woodcock.
Mrs. Hester M. Woodcock was born Feb 17, 1834, at Tioga Centre and died on Tuesday evening, May 8, 1906, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Ohart of Auburn.
Her sudden death was a shock to her many friends. Mrs. Woodcock was a faithful, loyal Christian worker not only in the Wall Street M.E. church but in the work for temperance. She was a member of Frances E. Willard Woman's Christian Temperance union ever since the organization of that union 15 years ago. She spent over 40 years of her life working for this great cause. In her earlier life she was a member of the Loyal Temperance Legion, and was one of its organizers, also a member of the good Templars.
When strength was hers, she was known many times to break barrels of whiskey and of beer, and watch the contents run out upon the ground. How many fallen ones have been lifted by her prayers and helping hand, even dragging men, unconscious from the accursed drink, from in front of a fast approaching train.
In out Frances E. Willard Woman's Christian Temperance union, her especial work had been among the prisoners and jailers, where she has done an endless amount of good; we can not even estimate the number who through her efforts and prayers have been brought to Christ, and to abhor liquor.
Her presence at the meeting of the union has always been so helpful, she was an inspiration to all about her. Our dear sister is sorely missed, not only at these meetings but in her beloved church, for she never was so happy as when working for her lord and master. We do extend to the beloved daughter and family the heartfelt sympathy of every member of Frances E. Willard Union.".
14 James WRIGHT15,17 (1801-1864) [148]. Born 1801, New Jersey.18,19,20 Marr Jemima CLARK bef 1831.15 Died 3 Apr 1864, Tioga County, NY.19 Buried Lounsbury Cemetery, Tioga County, NY.19
The death certificate of son, George W. Wright, lists his father as "John Wright". This error caused a many year delay in locating the correct parents of George W. Wright.
In the 1860 NY, Tioga, Tioga census the wife of James Wright is shown as "Anna". We believe this is in error as both James and Jemima are buried together in the Lounsbury Cemetery, Tioga County, NY. There is no evidence that James had other than one wife, Jemima Clark.
Find-A-Grave lists his birth year as 1810. This appears to be in error based on his age of 63 at the time of death in 1864 and the age reported on the 1850 and 1860 census.
Probate record from the village of Owego, County of Tioga, January 20, 1866.

15 Jemima CLARK15,17,19,22 (1816-1864) [7225]. Born 1816, Tompkins County, NY.15,18,19 Died 23 May 1864, Tioga County, NY.19 Buried Lounsbury Cemetery, Tioga County, NY.19
In the 1850 NY, Tompkins, Danby census, Jemima is listed as a person who cannot read or write. In the 1860 NY, Tioga, Tioga census, she is incorrectly shown as Anna with no indication that she cannot read or write.
