"Wright, Ernest A. - 2406 Delaware, age 74, died Tuesday, May 30, 1878, at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Friday at the Brown Funeral Home. Rev. Eugene Lancaster officiating. Burial in Gracelawn Cemetery. Visitation 8 AM to 10 PM. Mr. Wright was born in Flint, Michigan, January 6, 1904 and had resided in Flint most of his life. Mr. Wright belonged to the Wood, Wire and Metal Lathers International Union No. 561. He worked as a Wood and Metal Lather for 55 years, retiring in 1960. Surviving are: wife, Majorie; 3 daughters, Mary Lou, Shirley, and Winona; 5 sons, Franklin, Ronald, David, Richard and Robert; 25 grandchildren; 12 great0grandchildren; 3 sisters, Eva of Florida, Lola of Flint and Lillian of Pontiac; brother LaVerne of Wayne; several nieces and nephews.".

Wright, Irving A. 309 W. Kearsley St., age 67, died Tuesday, July 13th, 1937, at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m, Thursday, July 15, from Groves & Co. Funeral Home. Burial in Avondale cemetery. Remains will be at Groves & Co. funeral home. Surviving are: wife Lena, 3 daughters, Mrs. Eva Stewart of Flint, Mrs. Lola Roe of South Branch, Michigan, and Mrs. Lillian LaPratt of Alma, Michigan, 3 sons, Ernest, Laverne and Floyd Wright all of Flint, 24 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter 1 sister Ruperta Wart (Ward) of Cleveland, Ohio.

"Wright - Albert C. Wright, a resident of Birch Run for the past 21 years died of paralysis at his home Sunday afternoon at 5:30 o'clock. Mr. Wright was born in New York state November 27, 1837 and May 26, 1890 (correct date - May 27, 1896) was married to Mrs. Mary Colville, who, with four children, survives him. The children are Charles of Jackson, Irving of Flint, Mrs Daniel Wilter of Lansing and Mrs. Arthur Word of Ohio. Two brothers, Henry of Grand Rapids and George of Birch Run, one sister, Mrs. Mary Campbell and one step daughter also survive. The funeral will take place from the Butler School this afternoon at 1 o'clock sun time. Rev. Mr. Hunt of Birch Run officiating. Burial will be in Birch Run.".

Wright, Lena, 3107 E. Baldwin Rd., age 100, died Sunday, October 22nd, 1972, at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 25, 1972, at Colonial Chapel, Reigle Funeral Home, Rev. Floyd Wehner officiating. Committal services will be held at Parkview Memorial Gardens, Plymouth Mich. at 1pm. Mrs. Wright was born in Ingham County, Michigan, April 12th, 1872 and had lived in this area over 50 years. Mrs. Wright celebrated her 100th birthday last April. She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church in Ypsilanti. Surviving are: 3 daughters, Mrs. Eva Stewart of Orlando, Florida, Mrs. Lola Roe of Flint and Mrs. Lillian LaPratt of Keego Harbor, Michigan; 2 sons, LaVerne Wright of Grand Blanc and Earnest Wright of Flint.

"WRIGHT, Marjorie M. - Of Flint, age 88, died on Sunday, February 1, 1998 at Briarwood. Funeral service will be held at PM Wednesday, February 4, 1998 at Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Road with Rev. David Miller officiating. Mrs. Wright will lie in state at the funeral home after 6 PM Monday. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory directly to the family. Mrs Wright was born in Flint, Michigan on November 12, 1909 and has been a life long resident of Flint. Surviving are: seven children, Mary Lou Ward of Mt. Morris, Ronald Wright of Flint, Shirley Robinson of Flint, Winona Wright of Flint, David Wright of Flint, Richard Wright of Flint, Robert Wright of Flint; 29 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Franklin Pettengill; sister, Millie Jean Garman; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Wright in 1978 and four children, Alfred, Fredrick, Melvin and one sister, Winona White and two brothers, Howard and Pete.".
