"As many of you know, my dear and beloved husband, Arnold Mercier, was diagnosed with liver cancer on June 17, 2005. I made the decision to discontinue breeding and showing cats during this time, in order to take care of him and spend more time in devotion to our family, which also was his wish. Only four months after his initial diagnosis, he passed away on October 25th, 2005.
I hope to return to breeding and showing in the future; but hope that you will understand my decision not to breed or show at this time. All of My Best, Pamela Mercier.".
