"BRADLEY, Richard E. - Long time resident of Genesee, Michigan, age 74, went home to be with his Lord, after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Bill Bridgman officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor guard. Visitation 11AM-8PM Friday at the funeral home. Richard was born in Flint, Michigan on August 8, 1930. As a member of the U.S. Army, he served two tours of duty in Korea during the Korean War. Richard retired from Perry Printing Company as a master Journeyman in 1993, He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors. He bowled on several leagues and maintained a 190 average. He raced boats and motorcycles. Richard was an excellent carpenter and created beautifully detail carvings. He had a deep love of books and increasing his knowledge in all areas. He loved to grow his own produce and enjoyed creating new recipes. Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Jane (Potter); beloved father of Denise and husband Joseph Grossman, Lucinda and husband Keith Kendall, Daniel and wife Angle Credille, Rebecca and husband Rick Loper, Matthew and wife Ann Parrish. He will be dearly missed by 15 loving grandchildren, Brandy Rusch, Brad Rusch, Melissa (Allan)Cornelius, Kari(Ryan)Bishop, Tony (Stephanie) Rusch, Pamela (Dennis) Herdendorf, Jeremy Bradley, Amanda Asbury, Matthew Bradley, II, Harmony Bradley. Amber Bradley, Sara Asbury, Jacob Leitelt, Nathanial Leitelt and Noah Leitelt; 6 adoring great-grandchildren. Sabree Bishop, Korrina Rusch, Moira Cornelius, Laylah Rusch, Danica Herdendorf and Zachary Bishop. He was preceded in death by daughter, Elizabeth in infancy."

"POTTER, Richard O. - 4461 East Stanley Road, Genesee, age 72, died Tuesday, April 17, 1973 at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Mt. Vernon Chapel, Brown Funeral Home, Rev. T.B. Smith officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Potter will lie in state at the Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Road. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday under the auspices of Welfare Lodge No. 517, F&AM. Visitation 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mr. Potter was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, August 10, 1900, and had been a resident of Flint and vicinity for the last 50 years. He was a member of Bray Road Baptist Church, life member of Welfare Lodge No. 517, F&AM, and he had been employed by Chevrolet Motor Division for 37 years, retiring in 1962. Surviving are: Wife, Erma, 5 daughters, Mrs. Lee (Helen) Palmer and Mrs. Charles (Betty) Poland, both of Flint, Mrs. Morris (Frances) Palmer and Mrs. Richard (Jane) Bradley, both of Genesee, and Miss Sandra Potter at home; 3 sons, Albert and Jimmy, both of Genesee, and Robert of Goodrich. 24 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren; 5 sisters, Mrs. Callie Potter, Miss Edna Potter, and Mrs. Ethel Eleazer, all of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Lindell of Hampton Rhoades, Virgina; 4 brothers, Horace and Clifton, both of Clarksville, Tennessee, Edward of Flint and Calvin of North Branch.".

"POTTER, Erma Beatrice (Moore) - Age 94, a long-time Genesee resident, formerly of Flint, passed away at home early Friday morning. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2000 at Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Road with Pastor Steve Reid officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. An Order of the Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday. She was the oldest living past Worthy Matron and lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Genesee Chapter #457. Her husband, Richard Potter; sons, Albert and Robert Potter preceded Erma in death. She is survived by her children, Helen Palmer and Husband Morris of Genesee, Betty Poland and husband Bill of Flint, Jane Bradley and husband Richard of Genesee, Jim Potter and wife Carole of Flint, Sandra Potter of Flint; daughter-in-law, Donna Potter of Mt. Morris; and many loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.".
