"ROCK Wavne W. – 0f Flint, age 60, died Monday. September 13, 1999 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will he held at 6PM Thursday, September '16. 1999 at the Swart/ Funeral Home, 122^ West Hi!! Road- Reverend Butch Martin officiating Cremation will take place following the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Visitation 5-9PM Wednesday and I0AM Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Mr. Rock was born in flint Michigan on November 15, 1938. He married Beth Ann Wright on September 10, 1960. Mr. Rock was employed by Sears for 26 years, retiring in 1988. Surviving are his wife, Beth Ann; sons, David and wife Marva, James and wife Kimberly, Kevin and wife Regina, all of Flint; granddaughters, Bethany and Jacqueline; grandsons, Branden, Matthew, Jeremy, Derek, Justin, Drayton and Jordon; 4 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Darcey Wilson; brothers, James and wife Frances Rock of Davison and Richard Rock of Arkansas; sisters, Edna and husband Lloyd Mosher, Genevieve and husband Lerov Licquia, all of Florida; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Richard and wife Suzanne Henderson of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Edmond and Nellie Rock, in-laws. Merle and Bernadine Wright."

Merle J. Wright of Au Gres, age 74, died Wednesday April 24, 1991, at St. Joseph Hospital, Tawas. Memorial service will be held 3 PM Saturday April 27th, 1991, at Bristolwood Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1158 W. Bristol Road. Elder Harvey Foote and Elder Fred McClellan officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Out-reach International or Temple Fund of the Church. He was born in Flint, Michigan September 9, 1916. He married Joy Carroll on March 20th, 1976 in Flint. Mr. Wright was a member of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he was a Deacon, member of Masonic Genesee Lodge #174 F&AM, member of Shriners and Bay City Consistory. He was a Salesman for Peerless Furniture and Mattress Company for 26 years, retiring in 1987.
