"Zuellig, Mary Ellen, Gladwin, Michigan Passed away May 20, 1999, at Saint Mary's hospital following a short illness. Age 85 years. She was born August 11, 1913 in Fulton, Kentucky residing in Gladwin County since 1979 and previous to that in Birch Run. She was a school bus driver in the Birch Run School District, retiring in 1977 after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary-Secord Aerie #4121 and the Estey Moose Lodge. She was married to Perl E. Zuellig in Detroit, Michigan. He predeceased her January 29, 1999. Surviving are daughter, Joan Kerry, Houghton Lake, Mich.; daughters and sons-in-law, Helene and Michael Lambert, Flint, Mich.; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Marjorie Zuellig, Saginaw, Mich.; 21 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 24, 1999 at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin, Mich. 48624. 517-426-7651. Rev. Fr. Julius Spleet will officiate with burial in Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum, Saginaw, Mich. at 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 1999. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7L00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. Sunday. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the American Heart Association.".
