In the Troup County, GA Digital Archives Project is a 1935 Photograph showing an outdoor meal at Blue Springs. Seated at the head of the table is the current president of the United States, Franklin Delano Roosevelt. To his right is Cason J. Calloway and to his left is Virginia Hand Callaway, then a girl of 14. Her 8 year old brother, Bo, is also in the photograph.

"COL. BAILEY'S SON ENGAGED - The Atlanta Constitution published a photo of Miss Virginia Callaway, of LaGrange and Blue Springs, announcing her engagement to Lieut. B. Mart Bailey, Jr., of the U.S. Cavalry, son of Col. B. Mart Bailey, formerly of Mansfield. Miss Calaway is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cason J. Caloway, one of Georgia's most prominent families."

"La Grange, Ga., Feb. 22. --Lieutenant Benjamin Mart Bailey, Jr., and his lovely bride, the former Miss Virginia Hand Callaway, are motoring south for their honeymoon following their marriage which was brilliantly solemnized here this evening at the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Bailey is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cason J. Callaway, of La Grange and Blue Springs, and Lieutenant Bailey is the only son of Colonel Benjamin Mart Bailey, United States Army, and Mrs. Bailey, of Atlanta.".
