Age 71, of RD#1, Mansfield, PA, Thursday, April 17, 1986, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Friends may call at the Kuhl-Wilston Funeral Home, Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral will be held there Monday, 2 pm, with the Rev. David Weidman officiating. Burial, Tioga County Memorial Gardens. Survived by wife, the former Agnes Levandowski; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Timothy Winder of Mansfield, PA; 3 sisters, Mrs. Arlene Sillaman of Winter Haven, FL, Mrs. Isabell Harvey of Mansfield, PA, and Mrs. Ella Mae Bailey of Mansfield, PA; 2 grandsons, Jason and Jody Winder, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Sparling was born October 2, 1914, in Covington, PA, a son of Ward and Bertha Johnson Sparling. He was a retired plant manager at Keystone Manufacturing, Covington, a member of the Wheel Inn, Roaring Branch, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1147, in Wellsboro, and the National Rifle Association.".
