September, 1934 - "SMITH, MRS LUCINDA WATSON (SRGH 06572).
Troy, Pa. - Mrs Lucinda Watson Smith, 83, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Iva Leonard, at Big Pond Friday (Sept. 21, 1934) at 3:30 p.m. She is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Grace Mandeville of Elmira, a son Greeley Smith of Big Pond; a brother D. Watson of Roseville, Pa., and two grandchildren. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. W.F. Bush will officiate, assisted by the Revs. O.J. Stevenson and Henry Rutchell.".

October 30, 1888 - "Daniel Watson, Esq., a venerable and well-known citizen of Rutland, who has been sick for many weeks, is reported to be improving in health."

March 12, 1889 - "Last Wednesday Daniel Watson, Esq., a prominent and esteemed citizen of Roseville, died after a long sickness, at the age of sixty-five years. The funeral was held on Friday, and it was largely attended. He leaves a wife, three daughters and one son."

From the Tri-County Newspaper Clipping Scrapbook. The following was published in a Tioga Co., paper.

March 6, 1889 - "Daniel Watson, Esq., (SRGP 06414) died at his home in Roseville yesterday afternoon of lung trouble, aged 65 years. He had been a sufferer since last July. Deceased was a man universally respected for his uprightness and business qualifications, and his demise will be a loss to the boro of Roseville not soon to be overcome. He leaves a wife, three daughters, Mrs. H.H. Smith, Mrs. E.E. Wood, and Miss Ida R. and one son Daniel Jr., the youngest of the family. The funeral will be held from the late residence on Friday next at 11 o'clock.".
