March 28, 1952 - "Charles Beegle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Beegle, of Coats road was honored on the occasion of his ninth birthday at a party given in his home. Guests at the affair included Orville Cromwell, Billy and Eddie Rush, Rosie Hartsell, Vincent Grinell, Mayme and Rosemary Crandall and Wayne and Gary Griffith, accompanied by their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Griffith, of Wayne. Following a game period and opening of gifts, refreshments of cake and ice cream were served.".
