January 4, 1924 - "Severne Loder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Loder, who had been working at the Aper?mine in Bingham canyon, has returned home and started to high school in Kaysville."

July 3, 1996 - "Severne Duncan passed away June 29, 1996. He was born March 26, 1906 to Lawrence and Ann Duncan Loder in Bountiful, Utah. He was in the construction business for most of his life. He was an active member of the Carpenter's Union Local #184 got 62 years. He was superintendent of construction of the LDS Los Angeles Temple in 1952. He has left a legacy of many beautiful buildings throughout the West.

He was a resident of Bountiful, Utah almost all his life. Married Lettie (Luciile) Clark, April 11, 1927. Sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, April 4, 1930. Preceded in death by his wife, who died March 17, 1993.

He is survived by his five children and their spouses: Robert Clark and Ginger Loder, of Fremont, Calif.; Shirley and Ralph G. Larson, of Bountiful, Utah; Colleen and Shirl Hales, of North Salt Lake, Utah; Ronald and Wanda Loder, of Fairfield, Calif.; and Bruice and Beverly Loder, of Tunstin, Calif. He will be remembered fondly by his 24 grandchildren and by his many great- and great-great-grandchildren, as a grandpa who fished, built things in his shop, and kept a garden, which he shared with others.

Interment at Memorial Estates Cemetery, 1640 Lakeview Dr., Bountiful, where graveside services will be held on July 5, 1996 at 2 p.m. His family wishes to express thanks for the friendship and the kindness given to Severne, over the years of his long life.".

March 14, 1938 - "CENTERVILLE --Services for Charles Duncan, 83, life-long resident of Davis County, who died here Wednesday of a heart aliment, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., in the Centerville Second Ward, Bishop Joseph N. Ford officiating.

Mr. Duncan was born in Layton, May 22, 1854, but moved with his parents to Centerville in the fall of that year, where he has resided with the exception of ten years spent in Syracuse. Mr. Duncan, with his brothers, was a mason for many years. He helped to erect many brick and rock structures throughout Davis County and the surrounding area.

He married first Catherine Rice, who died leaving six children, five of whom are still living. His second wife was Margerettha Zanther, mother of nine children, two of whom survive.

Surviving are Charles Duncan, Tensleys, Wyo., William K. Duncan, Roy: Ann D. Loder, Bountiful: Lavilla Shill, Malta, Ida., Laura D. Coles, Santa Monia, Calif.: and Clifford S. and Elmer B. Duncan, Centerville; also 30 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a brother and a sister: Arch Duncan and Sara D. Backman, Centerville.

Friends may call at the Ira Holbrook Mortuary in Bountiful, Saturday or at the family home Sunday until time for the services.".

March 19, 1993 - "Lettie Lucille Clark Loder, 82, passed away March 17, 1993 at Bountiful hospital. Born November 212, 1910, North Ogden, Utah, to Joseph A. and Lettie Grace Warren Clark. She married Severne Duncan Loder. April 11, 1927 in Ogden, Utah; marriage solemnized April 4, 1930 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She will be remembered for endless energy as work director for the Relief Society, many art pictures she gave away and will be missed for her sweet spirit.

Surviving are husband, Severne, Bountiful; children and their spouses, Robert and Virginia Loder, Freemont, California; Shirley and Ralph Larsen, Bountiful; Colleen and Shirl Hales, North Salt Lake; Ronald and Wanda Loder, Fairfield, California; Bruce and Beverly Loder, Las Vegas, Nevada; 26 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; sisters Vera Gooch, Bellview, Washington; Bernice Fenten, Sunnyvale, California; June and Lewis Sellenit, Centerville, Doris Hansen, St. George; half brothers, Albert and Joan Clark, Clearfield; Steven Clark, Ogden; half sister, Noreen and Don Rawlings, Ft. Collins, Colorado; sister-in-law,Neva Newcomb, Bountiful; brother-in-law, Bill and Jewel Loder, Centerville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 20, 1993, 11 a.m., at Russon Brothers Union Mortuary, 295 No. Main, Bountiful, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment: Lakeview Memorial Estates, 1540 Lakeview Dr. Funeral Directors: Memorial Estates Mortuary.".
