January 9, 1964 - "Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Perry of 139 Taber Street, Blossburg, have announced the engagement of their daughter, June Louise to Clinton D. Tenny Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton D. Tenny of Burdett, N.Y..
Miss Perry is a 1963 graduate of the North Penn Joint High School. Mr. Tenny attended Painted Post High School and is serving in the Navy in Iceland. Wedding plans are incomplete."

August 13, 1964 - "Miss June Louise Perry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis R. Perry of Blossburg became the bride of Clinton D. Tenny Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton D. Tenny of Bath, Saturday, August 1, in a ceremony performed in the Blossburg Methodist Church.
The Rev, Charles Ramp officiated. Wedding music was played by Mrs. Frank Watkins who also accompanied the soloist, Miss Kathy Tripp of Watkins Glen, N.Y.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of imported lace over net and taffeta fashioned with a sweetheart neckline trimmed with seed pearls and iridescents. The full skirt, worn over a hoop was fashioned with a back panel of lace. Her shoulder length veil of nylon net was attached to a crown of seed pearls and lace. She carried a white Bible with red rose, white streamers and ivy.
Miss Joan Perry was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Miss Roberta Pequignot of Williamsport, cousin of the bride, and Miss Sharon Mase of Blossburg. Junior bridesmaid was Miss Susan Perry and flower girl, Miss Patricia Perry, both sisters of the bride. All attendants wore ballerina length gowns of pink taffeta.
John Levandoski of Blossburg was best man. Ushers were Howard Hodder of Blossburg and Charles Felker of Corning N.Y. A reception followed the ceremony at the Rod and Gun Club of Blossburg.
The bride is a graduate of the North Penn Joint High School and her Husband attended Painted Post High School and is serving in the Navy at Norfolk, Va where the couple will reside.".

January 14, 1920 - "Cecil S. Perry, of Westfield, and Miss Rose Ruby Comfort were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Comfort, in Lawrenceville, Thursday afternoon, by Rev. E.F. Phelps, of Painter Run."

November 3, 1976 - "Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wagner of Mansfield and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bowers, RD 5, Wellsboro have returned from a trip to Tennessee. While there they visited Mrs. Bower's mother, Mrs. Rose Goldsby of Millington, Tenn. and brother John Cowles of Arlington, Tenn. Mrs. Goldsby and John Cowles are former residents of Wellsboro. The Wagners and Bowers traveled over 2500 miles enjoying many places of interest also crossing over into Arkansas before returning home.".

May 2, 1957 - "William Henry Comfort 82 of Mansfield RD 3, Pa, died April 24, 1957. He was a member of Knoxville Baptist Church.
He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Rose Cowles of Wellsboro, Pa., Mrs. Nellie Stradley of Himrod N.Y., sons Truman Comfort of Norfolk, Va, Alfred of Lawrenceville Pa., Raymond of Mansfield, 18 grandchildren and 26 great great grandchildren .
The funeral was Saturday with Rev. Oren E. Crippen officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Tipga.".

"The many friends of Mrs. Pearl (Bartlett) Comfort were saddened when it became known that she had died at her home in Charleston last Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Two years ago last June Mrs. Comfort suffered a stroke of paralysis from which she gradually declined until a few days before her death, when she suffered another stroke, which caused her death. Had Mrs. Comfort lived until July 23 she would have been 43 years old. In February 1898, she was married to William H. Comfort and to this union seven children were born, five of whom survive. They are Truman D. Comfort of Trenton, N.J.; Mrs. Cecil Perry, of Charleston, and Nellie, Alfred and Raymond at home; besides her husband and children she also leaves to mourn, her father, David Bartlett, of Tioga; one sister. Mrs. Emma Kennedy of Mansfield; two brothers, Lawrence Bartlett of Holiday and Harley Bartlett of Mill Creek, and four grandchildren. Mrs Comfort was a kind wife, a loving mother and a good neighbor. The funeral was held from the M.E. church in Tioga Sunday at one o'clock, the Rev. F.A. Phelps, of the Free Methodist church in Corning, officiating. Interment was in the family plot in Evergreen Cemetery at Tioga. The bearers were old neighbors and schoolmates of Mrs. Comfort.
