July 23, 1959 - "The wedding of Miss Phyllis Dawn Harris, of Whitney Point, N.Y., daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Floyd Harris, and James Carland Allen, Johnson City, N.Y., son of Mr. and Mrs. Carland Allen, Blossburg, was solemnized at the Upper Lisle Baptist Church Saturday, July 4, 1959 at 2 pm..
The bride's father and the Rev. Woodrow Brown officiated at the ceremony before a setting of ferns white roses, carnations and snapdragons.....".
