September 10, 1952 - "Port Allegany - Mrs Horace Reddington, 60, of this place died Saturday in the Olean General Hospital, following a month's illness.
The daughter of Alfred and Carrie Weaver Davis, she was born in Little Marsh, Pa., July 3, 1886. She was first married to Myron Borden, and some time following his death was united in marriage to Mr. Reddington.
She is survived by one son, Alvin Reddington of Port Allegany, a daughter, Mrs. James Dean of Niagara Falls and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Earl B. Williams of the Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Kinneyville Cemetery.".
