January 16, 1947 - "Mrs. Walter Larson and daughter, Marlene, spent last weekend with Mrs. Larson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.P. Gamble of Port Allegany.".

December 2, 1953 - "PORT ALLEGANY (Special) - Funeral services for Roland P. Gamble, 48 Main St., who died in the Community Hospital here Tuesday morning, will be held at the Walter Funeral Home Thursday at 7 p.m. with the Rev. E.B. Williams, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. A Masonic lodge service will be conducted at the grave.
Mr. Gamble was born in Malaga, N.J., on December 1, 1883, and came to Port Allegany as a glass worker 38 years ago. He was afterwards a carpenter and for the past two years had been employed as a custodian in the Port Allegany School system.
He was married in Olean on Dec. 4, 1904, to Edna May Redington.
Mr. Gamble was a member of the Liberty Lodge No 505, Free and Accepted Masons, the Coudersport Consistory and the Carpenters Union.
Survivors besides his wife include three daughters, Miss Verna Gamble, Port Allegany, Mrs. Loretta Sanburg, Duke Center, and Mrs. Rebecca Larson, Mt. Jewz??; two sons, Radford Gamble, Allegany and Cecil Gamble, Port Allegany, and seven grandchildren.

July 31, 1950 - "Redington Family Has Its Reunion In Port Allegany - The Redington family reunion held yesterday at the Port Allegany Community park was attended by 53 members of the family. A tureen dinner was served at 1 o'clock and the afternoon was spent in swimming, games, and visiting.
The committee in charge was the officers for this year's reunion: president, Twila Redington; secretary, Verna Gamble. Harry Redington was elected president for next year's reunion which will be held the first Sunday in August. Mrs. Lloyd Shark, Bradford, was elected secretary.
Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Redington and son, Mr. and Mrs. William Tatt, Mr. and Mrs. William Redington, Bolivar, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sandberg and son, Duke Center; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Redington and daughter, Knapp Creek; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sherk, Bradford; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Larson and daughter, Mt. Jewett; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Richardson, Richburg, N.Y.; Mrs. Carrie Applegate, Akron O.; Mrs June Davis and children, Belfast, N.Y.".
