February 28, 1948 - "Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sanberg, Vine St., Port Allegany, on Sunday were the guests of honor at a family dinner honoring the couple's 58th wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Sanberg were married in Olean in 1890 and have resided in Port Allegany their entire married life. They were presented a number of gifts.
Present were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Strang of Kittaning, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sanberg and son, Lynn, Duke Center, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Anderson and daughter, Lois and Oscar Sanberg of Port Allegany.".
