August, 1981 - "Mrs. Elva Armstrong Phillips, of Broad Acres Nursing Home, Wellsboro, formerly of Millerton, Pa., Sunday, August 2, 1981 at Broad Acres. Friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home Tuesday 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. with funeral and committal services at the conclusion of calling hours (8 p.m. Tuesday evening), the Rev. James Wilson of the Millerton Wesleyan Church officiating. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Earl Phillips of Broad Acres, son Jack R. Kingsley of Millerton, Pa., adopted daughter, Mrs. Margery Rumsey of Southport, Pa.; sister, Mrs. Una Brice of Independence, VA; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.".

July 27, 1932 - "Mrs. Thomas Armstrong, aged 49 years, of Mansfield, died Saturday at the Blossburg hospital from gun shot wounds which are believed to have been self inflicted.
Mrs. Armstrong had been in ill health for some time. Her daughter, Mrs. Malene Philips died two months ago. She was found at 6 o'clock Saturday morning at her home in the Newton Road and immediately taken to the hospital.
Mrs. Armstrong resided most of her life at Roseville, until last September, when the family moved to the Startey farm on the Newton Road.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Elva Kingsley, of Mansfield, and Una at home; three sisters, Mrs. George Kelley, Mrs. Earl Soper, of Mansfield, and one brother, Frank Williams, of Roseville. The funeral was held Monday, Rev. Orey Crippen officiating; burial in Watson cemetery at Roseville.".

October 2001 - "Arlene D. Dann, Age 76 of Mansfield, Pa. October 4, 2001 at Arnot Ogden Memorial Hospital, Elmira, NY. She was born June 17, 1925 in Mansfield PA, the daughter of Ralph and Hildred Ford Dann. Arlene was a retired Secretary and a member of the Millerton United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Wilford, 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Susan & Dennis Wieland, Janis & Robert Collins, all of Horseheads, NY; a sister, Marie Cunningham of Mansfield, PA; 6 grandchildren, Christopher & Brandon Wieland, Jason Reich, Lindsay & Megan Wilson, Shawn Collins; 5 great grandchildren & several step children & grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Rodney Mason in 1962 & her second husband, Jack Kingsley in 1990. Friends are invited to call at the Wilson Funeral home, 18 N. Main St., Mansfield, PA, Sunday 2-3 PM. Funeral services will follow there Sunday at 3:00 PM with Rev. Allen Hulslander officiating. Burial in Tioga County Memorial Gardens. Family will provide the flowers. Memorial contributions in Arlene's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Assoc. at Kirby Health Center 71 N. Franklin St. Wilkes Barre, PA 18701.".
