April, 1986 - "Mr. Hall, age 71, a resident of Yarmouthport, MA since 1981, Wednesday, April 9, 1986 at the Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, MA, after a short illness. Mr. Hall was the husband of Chrystal (Soper) Hall. Born in Rutland, Pa., he grew up in Rutland and Mansfield, Pa., and attended school in Mansfield. Mr. Hall graduated from the Mansfield State College in 1936. Upon graduation, he worked as a hay broker, buying and selling hay in Auburn, NY and Little Falls, NJ. Mr. Hall became a Chevrolet dealer in Troy, Pa. for 30 years. He was a widely-known wholesaler of automobiles in the East. Mr. Hall moved to Yarmouthport, MA, in 1981 from Troy Pa. He was a life member of the Elks Club in Auburn, NY, and he belonged to many automobile dealer associations. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Patricia Cotoia of Marston Mills, MA., Mother Blanch Hall of Mansfield, Pa, 2 grandchildren, David and Jennifer Strong of Marstons Mills, MA., brother-in-law, Wellwood Soper of Hendersonville, NC. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14, at 11 a.m. at the Hallett Funeral Home, 283 Station Avenue, South Yarmouth, MA. Visiting hours are omitted. Burial Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouth, MA. Donations in his memory may be made to the Hospice Association of Cape Cod, 66 School Street, Hyannis, MA, 02601. A memorial service will be held on May 3, 1986 at 2 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Home, Troy, Pa.".
