The following information was provided by Edith Zuellig Zeilinger on a tour of the area with Kenneth D. Wright on May 20, 2000.

At the time of Edith's birth, her parents were living in a home previously owned by her grandparents, George and Celia Wright. This home was the first home of George and Celia and was located on Courtney Road, between Gara Road and Old Plank Road (Now Dixie Hwy). The road has been renamed Wenn Road and the home still exists at 10375 Wenn Road. George and Hatti Zuellig then moved to a 40 acre farm on Canada Road east of Block Road. The barn is still in existence (May, 2000) at 12627 Canada Road. Edith remembers walking to a school, also located on Canada Road but was unable to identify where it was for sure. George Zuellig's brother Charles, owned a farm on the south east corner of Block and Canada Roads and that structure still exists. Another brother of George, owned a farm on the west side of Block Road 1/2 mile north of Canada Road. Edith married Charles Zeilinger in 1933 and they built their first house in 1935 on 130 Franklin in Frankenmuth. The house still stands in immaculate condition. In May of 1965 they moved to 444 Mary Cove, only a few block away. In 1978 they moved to an apartment at 227 Churchgrove Road, where Edith still lives today. (May, 2000). All three of her last residences are within a 1/2 mile radius.

From a newspaper announcement of her 90th birthday.

"Edith is a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. Although she has been legally blind for over 10 years, she is an avid golf fan, never missing any televised games. She takes care of her own home and loves to cook. Edith's children along with her five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, will celebrate her birthday on Jan 21 with a dinner at the Bavarian Inn.".
