February 4, 1971 - "The Deans List, containing the names of students who maintained high academic standing for the first semester of the 1970-71 academic year at Wilson College, was released today by Miss Martha Church, Dean of the College.
Among the students who were ranked on the second Dean's List was Mrs. Ardys Smith Grosjean, '71, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederic M. Smith, RD 4, Wellsboro.
To become eligible for the second Deans List, a student must have a semester grade average ranging between 3.2 and 3.5 points. This ranking would be slightly above a straight "B" average.
Wilson College is a four-year liberal arts college for women at Chambersburg.
